PRIVACY POLICY
What we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.

WHAT THIS SERVICE IS
SnakeRank is a listing board and nothing else. It publishes links in an order decided by how much each listing has paid. That is the entire product.
We do not build, host, operate, review, test, verify, rank on merit, or endorse anything on the board, and we provide no service of any kind to the products listed. Paying does not guarantee you reach #1, does not reserve a position, and does not keep one — anyone may outbid you at any time and move you down. Bids are non-refundable except in the cases set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Who we are
SnakeRank is operated by Aryan Kumar. For anything in this policy, including a request to access or delete your data, write to hiddenquizapp@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
What we collect
The board is a public leaderboard, so most of what we hold is meant to be seen. We collect four things and nothing else.
- What you submit for a listing. The destination URL or handle, a display name, an optional one-line description and a category. All of it is published on the board — that is the product. Tracking parameters (
utm_*,ref,fbclidand similar) are stripped from your URL before it is stored. - A record of your payment. The amount, the time, a reference supplied by the payment provider, and the email address you give at checkout if you give one. We use the email only to identify your purchase and to reach you about it.
- An anonymous visitor count. Your browser generates a random identifier and keeps it in local storage. It is a random number — it is not derived from you, your device or your address, and it is not shared with anyone. We use it to count how many browsers are on the site, which is the “online” figure you can see on the page.
- Aggregate click counts. When someone follows a link to a listing we increment a counter on that listing. We record the total, not who clicked.
- Analytics about your visit. Google Analytics records which pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what browser and device you use. See “Cookies and analytics” below, including how to opt out.
What we never see
Card details never reach our servers. Payment is taken on our provider’s own checkout, and we receive only a confirmation and a reference. We cannot see your card number, and we could not charge it again if we wanted to.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_<id>) and sends Google your IP address, the pages you view, and general details about your device and browser.
There is no advertising technology on this site: no ad pixels, no remarketing tags, no data broker, and nothing that follows you to other websites. We look at visitor numbers in aggregate; we do not try to identify you.
We also store one local-storage entry, under the key snakerank.session, holding a random number used to count how many browsers are on the site. It is not a cookie and is never sent to a third party.
You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google’s opt-out add-on, by blocking cookies for this site, or with any tracker blocker. The board works exactly the same either way.
Who else sees it
We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising. We rely on these providers to run the service:
- Dodo Payments
- Merchant of record. Takes the payment, handles tax, holds the card details.
- Neon
- Hosted Postgres. Stores the listings, the bid ledger and the visitor counter.
- Google Analytics
- Measures site traffic. Sets cookies and receives your IP address, which Google may process outside your country.
- Vercel
- Application hosting and edge network. Processes request logs.
Listing icons are fetched through our own server rather than embedded from a third party, specifically so that your browser never contacts an icon provider and your IP address is never disclosed to one.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
- Listings stay published until you ask us to remove them, or until we remove them under the Terms of Service.
- Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is typically several years.
- Visitor identifiers carry no personal data and are kept only to produce the counter.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, object to how we use it, or take it elsewhere. Exercise any of these by writing to hiddenquizapp@gmail.com. We will not charge you or make the service worse for asking.
Removing a published listing removes it from the board. We keep the underlying payment record, because we are required to.
International transfers
Our providers operate internationally, so your information may be processed outside your country — Google Analytics in particular processes data on servers in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place.
Children
This service is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the board itself.
